When Cosmos DB is a more recent multimodel cloud native database, Microsoft is even now committed to advancing its much more recognized SQL Server database as perfectly. Cosmos DB was to start with unveiled in 2017, though SQL Server’s history goes again to 1989, pre-courting the modern cloud era.

With SQL Server 2022, Microsoft’s aim is to convey the relational database system into its Azure cloud ecosystem.

With the way that Microsoft is using with SQL Server 2022, Ronthal reported it allows to situation Azure as a heart of gravity for both analytics and business continuity, though giving a holistic strategy to both on-premises and cloud elements.

“Microsoft proceeds to devote in further integration among on-premises elements and cloud elements capitalizing on their energy in both arenas,” Ronthal reported.
